At a cafe adjacent to the 15th century Kasbah walls in Hammamet Nord

A couple of weeks ago we went to Hammamet Nord with some friends.  Late afternoon, we paused for some refreshing mint tea in a wonderful setting overlooking the Gulf of Hammamet at a cafe adjacent to the historic 15th century Kasbah (Arab fort) walls.  Here they had rows of Tunisian birdcages.  Unfortunately, each cage had a little bird in it whereas, I prefer to see empty cages as I don't like the thought of animals in captivity.  Apart from that, it was good to see stray cats being allowed to lounge around the cafe and being petted by the occasional customer.
