Architectural styles in Tunis

This blog post follows on from earlier posts with the same label, it aims to highlight the different architectural styles in Tunis.  Even in mid-October it is possible to experience warm and sunny days.  It was during such a day that I took this photograph last week.  The architecture of this villa is simple, symmetrical and effective.  I particularly like the way the blue and white paint combination compliments the blue sky and the white fluffy cloud.  The palm tree which incidentally is a Phoenix canariensis towers over the villa and in my view completes the photograph.
