I had done an earlier blog post about the hand of Fatima, a palm shaped amulet. The use of this symbol is so widespread in Tunis. Here are three more examples:
Figure 1: This particular example made up of six tiles was on a wall in a little shop which sells packets of bottled water and soft drinks in La Goulette.
