The traditional Italian pizza has become an "international phenomenon" and can now be ordered in most restaurants in almost every country of the world. Quite rightly, the Italian purists would say that the different versions of pizza on offer around the world do not bear any resemblance to the original Italian pizzas. If you would like to find out about the history of the humble pizza and a description of its origins then I suggest that you take a look at the following website.
